Katie Collins

Katie Collins love for pottery/ceramics began with lessons she got for her birthday when she was 10 years old. She continued studying inside and outside school. She received a BFA from Indiana State University in 2019. She was a part of Guldagaard artist in residency in Denmark and continues to hone her skills here, at Fountain Square Clay Center. Her works are often organic in nature. Her inspiration comes from simple walks in parks, hikes and her travels. She focuses mostly on closed forms that can be altered. She looks forward to sharing her love of creating with you in her classes.
