Noel Burkhardt

Noel Burkhardt is a ceramic artist currently residing in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their work explores voluminous forms, inspired by neolithic pottery and bronze age artwork. Noel received their Bachelor’s degree from Pratt Institute in Industrial Design, where they learned to analyze forms through proportion, scale, and gesture. Noel has worked as an artist assistant for D-Haene studio, located in Brooklyn, New York, where their love for coiling became an invaluable part of their practice. Noel is currently in the process of applying for their MFA in ceramics, and is a studio potter at the Fountain Square Clay Center.
